There’s something about the cold season that makes me crave my grandma’s peach cobbler. This recipe is simple, quick, and one of my family’s favorites! 🍽️
Ingredients
- 1 large can of peaches in light syrup
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1-2 tbsp of cinnamon
- 1/4 cup (50g) white sugar
- Premade Pie Crust (enough to line a 9×10-inch pan and cover the cobble)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter (soft enough to slice and spread on top of crust)
Here’s how to make it:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a 9×10-inch baking dish with one layer of pie crust. Brush the crust with 1 tbsp of butter.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the canned peaches (including the syrup), vanilla extract, cinnamon, and sugar. Taste the mixture and adjust the cinnamon and sugar if needed—my family loves extra vanilla and cinnamon!
- Pour the peach mixture into the prepared dish. Cover with a second layer of pie crust. Spread the top crust with the last tbsp of butter and sprinkle lightly with sugar and cinnamon.
- Bake the cobbler uncovered for 30-45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the peach filling is bubbling thickly.
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the perfect combo!
