As a carb lover, one of my all-time favorite foods is pasta. This creamy steak fettuccine is not only delicious, but it’s also a great way to hit those protein and calorie goals while satisfying your pasta cravings. 🍽️

  • 130g fettuccine pasta (adjust the serving of your pasta to fit your goals but I like a lot of pasta 🙂
  • 8 oz steak bites
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp dried rosemary
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • Cooking spray (or olive oil)
  • 1 tbsp flour (about 8g)
  • 1 cup whole milk (about 240ml)
  • 4 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  1. Cook the Fettuccine: Bring a pot of water to a boil, then add your fettuccine pasta. Cook according to the package instructions (around 10-12 minutes), but I like to cook mine for 20 minutes for a softer texture.
  2. Prepare the Steak: While your pasta is cooking, season your steak with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, rosemary, and thyme.
  3. Cook the Steak: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, spray with cooking spray, and cook your steak to your desired doneness (about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare). Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest.
  4. Make the Cream Sauce: In a separate saucepan, spray with cooking spray and heat it over medium heat. Add the flour and heat, then slowly pour in the milk while whisking constantly to avoid lumps. Let the milk simmer, then whisk in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
  5. Combine and Serve: Once the sauce has thickened, add your cooked pasta into the saucepan and stir until the noodles are evenly coated. Taste and adjust with additional salt if needed.
  6. Top with Steak: Slice your steak into strips and serve on top of the creamy pasta. Enjoy!

This creamy steak fettuccine is a protein-packed dish. It’s easy to make and so full of flavor that you won’t believe that it can fit into your goals!
